At Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge, we offer indoor and outdoor options for weddings and events.
Our most popular outdoor location on the covered Veranda at the Lodge offers ample space for guests and a glorious panoramic view of the Appalachian Mountains. While we encourage our couples to take photos near the falls to commemorate their special day, we cannot provide wedding services at the public area around the falls.
Our indoor options range from intimate weddings in front of the fireplace to larger galas in the Oak Hall Ballroom. We provide full catering, bar services, accommodations, and options for rehearsal dinners, receptions, and gatherings. No outside food or catering services allowed, other than your wedding cake and flower service. The ceremony or reception may take place in all of our banquet rooms. The Oak Hall Ballroom and Veranda are preferred by most couples for their ceremony and reception.
Outside ceremonies are allowed in the park at no additional charge with prior approval from the Group Sales team. The two most popular places for ceremonies in the park are the top of the falls and by the reflection pool near the base of the falls. The couple will need to write a letter explaining where they would like to have the ceremony.
Any changes made to the area (decorations, music, chairs, tents, etc.) are prohibited. The wedding party is also limited to ten people. It is important that the couple understands that day-use areas are open to the public. They are non-reservable and cannot be blocked off in any way. Only bubbles may be blown in celebration of the nuptials. It is vital that the natural resources and facilities not be damaged in any way.
