Feel the mist and hear the thundering rush of the water as it falls to the base of the mountain.

Day four you may need a break, so relax in the shade at the reflection pond located at the bottom of the waterfalls or take a hike at your own pace on one of the 10 trails through the immensely beautiful state park. For a more serious hike, take the 8-mile Approach Trail to the southernmost terminus of the Appalachian Trail at Springer Mountain.
